Free Spay/Neuter Program for Pit Bulls

The MSPCA and Massachusetts Animal Coaltion have partnered to offer FREE spay/neuter services for Pit Bulls residing in Dorchester, Mattapan, Roxbury, and Roslindale. Pit Bulls who qualify will receive a full physical exam, microchip, rabies and distemper vaccination and be spayed/neutered for FREE. Proof of residency required. Our first meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 at the Bowdoin Street Health Center from 6:30-7:30pm.
We will be discussing plans for the Boston Shines Park Cleanup, and planning the return of your favorite summer park events: Movie Nights, the Kite Festival, and more!

A cafe and coffee shop is in in the works, to be housed in the historic Lenane Building in Fields Corner. Please join your neighbors at an info session with the founders next week. They will need the enthusiastic support of the neighborhood to make this plan a reality.

Help us to plant hundreds of daffodil bulbs throughout Ronan Park! We will also do a light cleanup of the park, followed by snacks and drinks for the volunteers.

1pm: Free snacks and drinks for the volunteers
Meet at the flagpole at 11am to receive your assignment. We will provide some gloves and trowels; please bring your own tools if you can.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, October 14th, 2014 at the Bowdoin Street Health Center from 6:30-8pm.We will discuss plans for a fall clean-up and bulb planting in the park in late October. C11 will give us an update about activity in the neighborhood. All are welcome!
This is our last meeting of 2014; we will resume monthly meetings in April 2015.

Join us for Movie Night in Ronan Park! Bring a blanket to sit on, and enjoy "HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON" under the stars. Free food and drinks while they last! Officers from BPD will be on site with FREE ice cream, hot dogs, and pizzas to celebrate our last movie night of 2014!
